Tannoy Reveal 501a and Disco Patrick
My Tannoy Reveal 501a‘s got delivered while I was out of town for a few days and I’ve been itching to get back and try them out!
I’ve only had a few hours of listening time so far, but I can tell you my initial reaction is they are sounding criss… Definitely a lot clearer than the tired old Eltax hi-fi speakers that have been my only monitors for over 10 years now. A new year, a new blog. Welcome to Discotopia; the new online home of Disco Patrick – that’s me!
After taking some time out over the last few months, I’m now revving up to take on DJing and music production once again, with a newfound enthusiasm that 2011 seems to have brought along with it.
As I write this, a pair of Tannoy Reveal 501a studio monitors are winging their way to me, along with 4 terabytes of much needed storage for data and backups. Plus I’ve created this blog to keep you up to date with where I’m at.
